Lucinda Jetty

The famous Lucinda jetty juts 6 kilometers into the Coral Sea it is supported by 660 concrete and steel pylons. It is the world’s largest bulk sugar loading facility. Sugar takes a 22-minute journey along conveyor belts on the jetty until they reach the shiploader. Observe this incredible process from the Lucinda wharf and take in the gorgeous views of the Coral Sea, if conditions are good you may even see dugongs and sea turtles.

Thorsborne Trail

Located on World Heritage listed Hinchinbrook Island the famous Thorsborne Trail has been internationally rated one of the top 10 walks on the planet. It runs along the east coast of Hinchinbrook Island National Park and has been described as “iconic” by Australian Geographic. Enjoy backpacking, birding watching and scenic views while exploring the Island.

Hinchinbrook Channel

The Hinchinbrook Channel is one of Australia’s most scenic places to fish, surrounded by rainforest covered mountains the southern part of the Hinchinbrook channel is a complex network of tributaries and islands that run past the jetty. The southern side of the channel contains river systems from the Herbet River and Seymour River. Relax and enjoy your day while you fish for barramundi, golden snapper, mangrove jacks and many more.

Our reception hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Saturday and
9am to 4pm Sundays.

No problems! We understand that sometimes things don’t always go to plan. If you’ll be arriving after-hours, please contact reception beforehand so that they can make arrangements for you.

We pride ourselves on being pet friendly under limited and strict conditions. It is of course our intent and goal to provide you with not only a wonderful and enjoyable stay with us, but also a happy and safe one.
In order to ensure the comfort, enjoyment and safety of all the guests staying with us, we have established a set of clear and enforceable rules to ensure that all pet owners take responsibility and will act responsibly in regards to the actions and behaviours of their pet.
Please note that all pets must be pre-approved prior to making a booking. Acceptance is always at the discretion of the park manager and such acceptance can be withdrawn at any time by the park manager at their discretion if they believe that the acceptance of that dog to stay in the park is not in the best interests of the park.
Please note that some breeds of dogs will not be accepted as well as some species of animals. We allow for only one dog per site. Allocation of sites and/or areas of the park will be based on this. Pets are not permitted in any Cabin/Villa, or Ensuite site. Evidence of pets in these types of accomodation will give rise to a cleaning fee of $200 charged against your credit card or payable in cash at our option.
We may choose to not accept pets over peak periods, holiday periods, long weekends and special events.
