We love our 4 legged furry friends… We allow pets most of the year at campsites only (Not in the cabins). Unfortunately we do not allow pets at Wanderers during peak periods (Long Weekends). Please give reception a call for further information about this. We welcome your call.
Wanderers offers modern facilities to cater for all our visitors – the large amenities block contains a dozen showers and toilets in each of the Men’s and Women’s sections; with limited facilities for people with disabilities. There is a basic camp kitchen for your use – please note – there is no fridge or freezer in camp kitchen. We have a fridge and freezer located at Reception for your convenience.
Wanderers has a full range of accommodation options to suit any requirements you may have. We have 8 tent sites located on a grassed area, close to the amenities and free BBQ area. We offer 148 powered sites with concrete annex pads, individual sullage, water and power.
If camping in the great outdoors does not suit you, we have five Queen Villas and seven Family Bungalows. Our Villas are perfect for a couple, or two fishing mates with a queen bed and a single bed. The Bungalows are ideal for families as they contain a double bed with two singles. If you need to accommodate a few extra people, we also have a family cabin that sleeps up to six people. (All in 1 bedroom). All are fully air conditioned & fully self contained.

Pricing as follows:
2 people: $135
3 people: $150
– Extra discounts for 4+ week stays apply to all accommodation options.
– Weekly discount of 10% applies to all accommodation options outside of school holidays.
– Linen is included in the tariff.
– A public holiday surcharge of 15% applies to all accommodation options, including Unpowered and Powered Sites.
We take a $100 deposit for cabin accommodation all year ($200 over Christmas and New Year period) and $50 for site reservations during events (e.g. long weekends, school holidays). For site bookings during our Winter Season, a week’s payment is taken as the deposit.
For cabins booked over the Christmas/New Year Period, if cancellation occurs with less than 30 days notice, the deposit is forfeit, with no refund. For any other time of the year, if a cabin is cancelled with 7 days or less notice, the deposit is forfeit. A $22 administration fee will be charged for cabin bookings cancelled within the correct time frame.
For site bookings outside of the Winter Season, a $22 administration fee will be charged for cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice. If accommodation is cancelled with 7 days or less notice, the deposit is forfeit. If applicable, there is an option of holding the deposit on your guest account.
For site bookings during the Winter Season, the deposit is forfeit if cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice. A $22 administration fee is charged for bookings cancelled with more than 14 days’ notice.
Deposits can be paid by Credit Card over the phone or Direct Deposit. Please call our reception staff for more details.
We do expect that reserved accommodation will be paid for on arrival.
No refunds will be given for early departure.
